DJ Cosi is a born and bred New Yorker who has been orchestrating unforgettable nights for the past 20 years. He is well known for his instincts, his versatility and the depth of his knowledge. He knows music, he knows how to keep the crowd moving, keep them anticipating what comes next and surprising them with what does. Every weekend, you can find many who will enthusiastically attest to this. Cosi is Co-founder/DJ/ Promoter of the Freedom Dance Party at (le) poisson rouge - at 9 years, it's the longest running Friday night dance party in New York City. On Saturday nights he pleases ears at Red Rooster Harlem restaurant.
For the past two decades, Cosi has magnified and cultivated his reputation and his following by hosting parties and performing at many well known venues including Nell's, Cheetah, Justin's, APT, Lotus, NV, Float, Metronome, Discotheque, Joe's Pub, Martinez Gallery, Mission, BLVD, Café Deville, Tribeca Cinemas and Canal Room.
He has delighted crowds at events for Nike, The Gap, Brooks Brothers, MOMA, Hugo Boss, Timberland, Vibe Magazine, Phat Farm, Grey Goose, The Chris Rock Show, Pepsi, The Magic Johnson Foundation, Yves Saint Laurent, The National Basketball Players' Association, The Council of Urban Professionals, The Fader Magazine, the Hudson Hotel, the W Hotel and many others.
Manhattan to the Hamptons, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Puerto Rico and more - Cosi has brought joy to the dance floor, song after song.

MY HOUSE

The Freedom Party® NYC is the longest running weekly Friday-night dance party in NYC history. Herbert Holler founded the event in 2003 (with fellow DJs Marc Smooth and Cosi) and has sat at the musical helm of this legendary foray for 12 years since its inception. Week in and week out, hundreds of people from all over the world have filled the Freedom dance floor to hear the best in hip-hop, R&B, disco 80s, 90s, classic rock, reggae music and more.

Lesser known is the other end of Herbert's musical spectrum—deep underground electronic dance music. House, future disco, indie dance, deep 80s tunes, the latest edits…These are the records Herbert plays at home for his own enjoyment. What started as a series of awesome, hour-long mixes has slowly but surely become a highly sought-after dance destination, a place where Herbert can continue to let his passion for deejaying and dance music flourish.
