Dirt Bikes, Liz Kelly

Dirt Bikes fuse gutbucket primal scream, circular-saw riffs, sub-sonic Germanic low end, and a not-so-delicate blend of thump 'n hump pocket. They are Richard Lehmann, on Howlin' Wolf-style vocals and guitar, Ryan Montgomery, on fretted six-gun, Sergio Perez, on the beloved tubs of glory, and Meike Wagner, on low-end bombast. Their first full length "THIS SHIT'S FOR SALE" was released on July 14th, 2011 as a follow-up to 2010's "The Ear EP". They live and love in Brooklyn.


Liz kelly plays drums and sings back-up vocals for various local, and national bands. Liz writes songs, produces records, reads endless books about nature-politics-animals, runs half-marathons, studies music recording, interns for music producers, is a waitress at Alchemy, supports local food as much as possible, and spends time with her fabulous friends and family supporting various brooklyn establishments.

Liz spent her childhood on a fruit and vegetable farm in Massachusetts. She is the youngest of four kids, and music was a huge part of Liz's childhood since her whole family always had sing-a-longs. As a kid Liz had a lot of energy, and at age eleven started playing the drums, and then took on the guitar, piano, bass, and even beat boxing. When Liz was nineteen she went on her first nationwide tour as a drummer. She has lived in New York since 2006 and loves music, animals, and rocking out with kids.
