Demar is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Miami , FL. Her love of music started at a young age writing her first song at 8 years old.

Her various musical influences ranging from TLC and Aaliyah, to Steely Dan and Coldplay, led her all over the place in the pursuit of expanding her musical knowledge and ability. After soaking up knowledge at Indiana University, she moved to London and immersed herself in the music scene.

With the expiration of her visa forcing her back to the states, she made her way to NYC where she has firmly planted herself in the open mic and LES gig scene. She is currently signed to the independent label run by music legend Richard Gottehrer, Instant Records, and is working on her first EP to be released digitally worldwide later in the year. Her first single and music video will be out in August.
