GROUNDERS is an emerging, hotly tipped avant-pop outfit from Toronto, quickly gaining recognition for their idiosyncratic art rock and explosive live performances. Their self-released debut EP Wreck of a Smile released in Spring 2013 on Nevado Records (Library Voices, Yukon Blonde, Bahamas), featuring production by Marcel Ramagnano (engineer on Born Ruffians, Rural Alberta Advantage, Woodhands). An remix of an EP track, unmistakably produced by David Newfeld (Broken Social Scene, Los Campesinos!), is set to be released on a split. Stars and Suns 7'' with Toronto's Volcano Playground.
