David Pollack

Born in New York Pollack loved music since he was a toddler. His dad used to lull him to sleep at night listening to Further to Fly by Paul Simon. It is musicians like Simon that inspire him most. After various bands and projects Pollack went solo in 2012 and has already played such New York venues as the Bitter End, The Knitting Factory and Sullivan Hall. He studied with vocal coach Gordon Grody who has worked with the likes of Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga and Bruce Springsteen's wife Paddy Scalfa of the E Street Band. Pollack put out his first full length "Put It Into Words", a compilation of recordings done at different studios with different musicians through all mixed by Jon D'Uva. (Breaking Benjamin, Louie CK, John Oliver) The record was released in January of 2014 and Pollack has been touring and performing in support of it.
