For over ten years, Darren Deicide has been leaving his own mark on the independent music scene as the purveyor of a unique style of neo-jukehouse blues.

Darren Deicide was born on Halloween in the rhythm and blues filled environment of Chicago. With a playing style that "blends the best aspects of blues, rock n' roll, and punk", trademark vocals that one review said "makes Satan himself feel as if he is not sinister enough", and a stomping foot, Darren Deicide delivers a contemporary style of roots-influenced rock that has been described as "John Lee Hooker meets Johnny Rotten", "raw, bluesy punk by a one-man dervish", and "the energy of Hasil Adkins, the presence of Robert Johnson, but the tortured delivery of Daniel Johnston." Like his own multi-cultural background, his music is an eclectic hybrid of many blues-based styles, but remains, as described in another review, as "good, pissed snot-infested rock n' roll".
