About Dark Side of the Bowl (Ft. Matt Burr of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals)

Dark Side of the Mountain is a Pink Floyd experience formed in Vermont by Matt Burr (Grace Potter and the Nocturnals). A lifelong admirer of Pink Floyd and their drummer Nick Mason, Burr calls this an art project he has dreamt of since his teens . In a recent interview with the NASA Journal, Burr said, "I was hooked the second I heard Animals and Dark Side of the Moon. Pink Floyd is a spaceship for the human mind and their powerful body of work had a deep impact on me." The NASA Journal also revealed the project will feature an innovative projection based light show that will pay homage to Pink Floyd's seamless ability to merge sound and sight. The bands iconic manager Arnold Lane added, "The fellas live show takes a lot of cues from the raw, dynamic Pompeii Era, but honors the catalog from Syd through the Wall including Obscured By Clouds." Joining Burr onstage are critically acclaimed VT musicians Bob Wagner, Matt Hagen, Dan Munzing & Josh Weinstein.
