About CRYBABIES "LIVE" WITH SUSAN ORLEAN AND SARAH THYRE

Everyone loves a good cry - or, at least most people do. On their Earwolf podcast CRYBABIES, Susan Orlean and Sarah Thyre interview comedians, musicians, actors, and writers about the movies, tv, music, plays, art, and culture that make them cry. Join us for a spectacular live taping of this hilarious and touching show, featuring Amy Sedaris and other special guests.

Susan Orlean is a staff writer for The New Yorker and the author of a lot of books, including The Orchid Thief (which was the basis of the Charlie Kaufman/Spike Jonze film Adaptation); Rin Tin Tin (a biography of the most famous dog in the world); and The Bullfighter Checks Her Makeup (which is one of the great book titles of all time). Believe it or not, she does much of her writing at a treadmill desk. Orlean has one dog, two cats, three turkeys, four chickens, ten Black Angus cattle, and a human husband and son.

Sarah Thyre is an actress and writer who has appeared on Late Night with Conan O’Brien and Strangers with Candy, and performed her own work at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theaters, Sit’n’Spin at the Comedy Central Stage, and on Public Radio International.

She lives in Los Angeles with her husband Andy Richter and their two children.
