About Corky Laing Plays Mountain

Drum Legend Corky Laing Plays Mountain

No need to ask for more cowbell -- Corky Laing Plays Mountain has got you covered with that band's biggest hit, "Mississippi Queen," which kicks off with that signature percussive sound. The blues rockers known as Mountain appeared at Woodstock just before drummer Laing joined them for their debut record, "Climbing". Now he tours with his own backup band, playing Mountain and other classic tunes, including "Nantucket Sleighride," "For Yasgur's Farm," "Never in My Life," "Don't Look Around" and many more. For this special celebration of his 70th birthday, Laing will be joined on stage by Chris Shutters on guitar and vocals, and Mark Mikel on bass. Don't miss this concert at New York City's B.B. King Blues Club.
