CMM Halloween Party w/ Richard Lloyd (Acoustic); Elora; Twin; and more

American guitarist, singer and songwriter, Richard Lloyd is best known as a founding member of the seminal New York band Television and for his association with Jimi Hendrix and CBGB, Richard has recorded a long string of successful solo recordings and remains an icon to guitar players everywhere. He will be playing an solo acoustic set on this night.


ELORA is a band founded in 2013 in Barcelona, Spain, by composer and music producer Marco Morgione (Linn Youki, formerly with Glissando), and currently formed also by Daniel C. Alarcón (Errecinco, Dúo Guasón) and Daniel Setti (Ático Produções, Miss Q, formerly with Jumbo Elektro). In less than two years, ELORA worked in hard DIY ways to release five EPs and a compilation, all by spanish label Siete Señoritas Gritando (www.7argh.com), and also did some video clips. White noise, weird tunings, bombastic basslines and bumping rhythms are some of the components of the sounds made by this multinational trio (they come from Naples, Murcia and São Paulo), Sonic Youth, Sebadoh, My Bloody Valentine lovers who are always searching for a fresh new style. ELORA is releasing its fist LP, “Tú”, at the end of 2015.


Hypno-folk duo, Twin, from Winnipeg, Manitoba are known for their international canoe/river tour network that support intimate, beautiful performances. Dave Fort's abstract, counter rhythm songwriting clashes in deep harmony with Mooneyesun's violin and enchanting vocal harmonies. Twin tells the vibrant open tales of the wilderness and industrial netherlands. Twin are working on new album "Daughter Sun" following up last years 11 track wonder "North Americana."
