Comedian and writer, Charla Lauriston (UCB, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) hosts this monthly variety show based on the critically acclaimed original series, Clench & Release, affectionately called "Clench" for short. The series follows Charla as she chases love and stand-up in the face of fried chicken, slavery, dicks, and heartbreak, and was deemed "a highly satisfying approach to comedy" by Film Threat.

The series has been written up in Glamour, Splitsider, The Root, Brokelyn, Bustle, and has featured the likes of Sasheer Zamata (SNL cast member), Natasha Rothwell (SNL writer), and many more of New York's finest comedians.
