Clara Lofaro Record Release

It's been written that Clara Lofaro's songs are "laced with soulful grooves...vulnerability and defiance". Finding inspiration around her grandparents' record player, Lofaro developed an early ear for harmonies and began singing in her local community church. In high school, she interned at Toronto-based recording studio No. 9 Sound before enrolling in Boston's Berklee College of Music on scholarship.

Her Top 25 Billboard charting single, Born to Love You is a testament to the enduring power of music as a universal connector. Equal parts raw and sizzling, Born to Love You was recorded in a Bavarian castle, produced by Christian Lohr (Sting, Joss Stone, Andrea Bocelli) and engineered by Robert Smith (Lady Gaga, U2, David Bowie, Billy Joel). With remixes by the legendary Chris Cox (formerly of Thunderpuss 2000), Richard Morel (Pink Noise) and other favs, Born to Love You has been getting support from DJs in big and small markets nationwide. With momentum growing more & more each day, Clara has expanded her fanbase to include club goers and hit #21 on the Billboard Dance Club Play Chart.

In a recent statement, Lofaro explains, "'Born to Love You' was inspired by my relationship to music and a romantic love I held at equal value. After the love had gone, music survived. It always will."

American Idol Season 11 finalist Erika Van Pelt released 4 of Lofaro’s songs on her debut album, My Independence which has been nominated for 2 New England Music Awards including, Album of the Year. Lofaro’s songs have aired on various TV networks including NBC, ABC, MTV, Lifetime and most others. Her single "Just Smile" is the theme song for Vanity Fair's "Wipe on a Smile" national commercial campaign which was renewed to broadcast a second year ending May 2014.

Clara has also released Clara Lofaro, Perfekt World, and Black & Blue Pearl as an independent artist.

She has performed alongside Stevie Nicks, Edwin McCain, Kimberly Locke, and Jeffrey Gaines. Clara was heard by her largest audience ever when featured in Disney Super Bowl commercials singing "When You Wish Upon a Star" featuring MVP players of the NFL team.
