Gonzalez is a spoken word poet, performance artist and musician whose work has been featured at Lincoln Center's Out-of-Doors Festival, Bill Moyers' documentary "Fooling with Words" and on NPR's "All Things Considered". His vibrant stories of personal identity in Latin American culture leap to life when backed by the Poetic License Band, a group made up of some of New York's best mambo, funk and Latin jazz musicians.
