About Chus + Ceballos (Open to Close) at Output and Audiolism 3 Year with Oshana/ Carlos Alkalina/ Emma B2B Kevin Osha in The Panther Room
Undoubtedly, Chus and Ceballos are the most solid, professional pair of Djs/Producers from Spain. Hailed worldwide for their excellent production works, including official remixes for world-renowned artists like Madonna, they display a remarkable versatility enabling them to play in small clubs to life-size festivals. Their marathon DJ sets capture their genuine Iberican character, while their blend of styles between House and Techno lie in perfect harmony, accentuating the unmistakable beat of the percussions.
Throughout the past decade, Chus and Ceballos have been the pioneers and creators of the underground movement known as 'Iberican Sound'. This resulted in the prologue to an important saga for artists and producers, who have chosen Tribal as their way of life. Their evolution throughout the past years has led them to the pinnacle of the global music scene.
All these years of hard work, absolute dedication, undisputed professionalism and a constant evolution in sounds have led this infallible duo to the summit of success, bringing them to securing residencies at the best clubs around the globe; Pacha New York, Space Miami, Stereo Montreal, Ageha Tokyo, and many others. Chus and Ceballos represent an invaluable legacy of sound, where their blend of styles is their dogma and the quality their message.
In an era where ‘original’ music is few and far between, few artists have been able to capture a truly indigenous sound. Luckily, for this US-born Producer and DJ, a relentless pursuit of instinctive rhythm has allowed her to produce a sound that is undeniably her own. With just a year of production under her belt, Oshana has composed a style that is both unique and complex, a product of expansive atmosphere, embryonic bass, and infectious percussion and rhythm.
Over the past year, Oshana has welcomed the release of two solo EP’s on the highly acclaimed, Romanian label, LOK Records, a remix for Stab9 on the Moscow based label, BodyParts Records, and a powerful VA release on her home label of Brouqade. Not surprisingly, her productions have quickly gained the support of several major artists on the infamous Desolat music label, a:rpia:r, and Cadenza, to name a few. Fueled with a budding release schedule, she’s developed an inspiring LIVE performance, gracing audiences in her home city of New York all the way to London and Berlin. With an impressive release schedule and tour dates to boast, there's no doubt that the future remains bright for this up and coming artist.
Looking ahead, this year promises to be a tremendous one for Oshana. With forthcoming dates scheduled in her home city of New York and Ibiza, an introductory vinyl EP, and a second various artist release, Oshana is rapidly defining herself as an artist “to watch.” Armed with an intrinsic passion for making music, Oshana will continue to strive towards the forefront of innovative dance music. No matter where the path may lead her, you’ll find her living by a simple credo, “Do what you love and love what you do, the rest comes naturally.”
From San Juan, PR and currently established in Brooklyn NY. In New York, everyone has a story, artists come together from all corners of the globe, each with their own paths carved and with surgical precision find impromptu ways to move their music forward in fresh and exciting ways. Alkalina's story is one that spans seven years of making forward strides in his hometown of San Juan, and now moving and bringing his sound to NYC. During his dj career hes been involved with Minimal-Tech, Techno and recently more into a Deep House, Tech-House flavor. His music selection and sequence of sounds while mixing is what really makes the crownd go crazy on the dancefloor. Alkalina has put his stamp on some rather interesting Music Festivals and Clubs around the US and Puerto Rico to say the least.
