At 24, jazz pianist Emmet Cohen has quickly become one of the most in demand musicians in New York. A finalist in both the 2011 Thelonious Monk International Piano Competition and the 2015 American Pianists Association’s Fellowship, Cohen plays with the maturity and confidence of a seasoned veteran. With astonishing technique and an innovative harmonic palate, Emmet engenders a deep musical bond with his audience. Cohen has shared the bandstand with a plethora of musical luminaries, working regularly with Kurt Elling, Herlin Riley, Ali Jackson, Brian Lynch, Billy Hart, Jimmy Heath, and many others. He completed a bachelors in music at the University of Miami and a masters degree at the Manhattan School of Music. This piano phenom can be found playing either piano or Hammond B3 Organ in New York City and all over the world.
