Catalina Shortwave is a rock and roll band with a sound that has been described as unique, dynamic, and genre-smashing. Red hot vocals and stinging guitars ride driving, thumping beat for a sound that reminds of both the hard and soft sides of the Black Crowes and Black Sabbath, and yet at the same time the best of NYC power pop'n punk, all with a tip of the hat to Wilson Pickett.
