Born and raised in Spanish, Harlem Carlton sopent his formative years at the world famous Apollo theatre in Harlem. There he sat at the feet of the greats and soaked up as much knowledge regarding showmanship as he could.

He witnessed James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Ray Charles, The Temptations and many others at work.

These shows were invaluable to his learning process.
