Therefore, the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina decided to embrace them and welcome them to bring them a piece of the Caribbean to the City of Fury.

The band was originally founded in 2011 by Luisa Bastidas, a violinist hailing from Colombia and Okai Musik a drummer and vocalist of Haitian descent. The duet started as a mix of their two traditional native rhythms and folklore. In 2013 the duet grew into a five-piece band, honing a rich sound that could keep the people grooving and dancing on their feet and spreading the rare beautiful sounds of Colombia, Haiti, and rhythms from the African diaspora to the world with a Brooklyn twist. You cant help but feel the heartbeat of the distinct polyrhythmic rhythmic section, electrifying violin and guitar solos , funky bass lines and energizing dance
