About Carbon Mirage, Dangerous Animals, No Sky God, The Values

Listening to Carbon Mirage — on stage or otherwise — you can't help but be moved. The band's sound, a collision of both rock and jazz, takes the listener to another world be it a soft day dream or a stirred adventure. An unexpected mixing of melodies, Carbon Mirage's sound is big and full. With influences ranging from Radiohead to Miles Davis, Sun Ra to Jimi Hendrix, each track moves in dynamic waves, charting a symphonic journey filled with tension and release, joy and nostalgia. Based in New York City, the band has performed at some of the most iconic venues, including: Mercury Lounge, Rockwood Music Hall, Pianos, Spike Hill, Pete's Candy Store, Spin NYC, Silvana, and other top galleries and festivals.

Dangerous Animals formed in 2011 in Storrs, CT when frontman Mike Holler and guitarist Mick Taggart first met and began making music together. The duo soon recruited drummer John Hudak through word-of-mouth and eventually settled on longtime friend Mike Schulz for bass guitar. Bouncing between dark pubs, rock clubs, and wild house shows, the band has cultivated a dedicated following for their music – a mixture of punk, dance rhythms, and rocknroll. Their debut EP "Don't Blame the Floor if You Can't Dance" is due later this month.

No Sky God is a rock band from America. No Sky God is Whom, Them, and Him. No Sky God is gritting its teeth while it stitches its wounds with razor wire. No Sky God has GUITARS. No Sky God is CHIPPING. No Sky God likes MELODIES and RHYTHM and SINGING and sometimes SOLOS. No Sky God DANCES and LAFFS. No Sky God is CHIPPING. No Sky God watches a lot of DOCUMENTARIES. No Sky God is careening across a frozen river with a shotgun in its LAP. No Sky God is CHIPPING. No Sky God is proud and insecure and intense and relaxed and into THE KNICKS and SOUP DUMPLINGS. No Sky God is #tbt and THE FUTURE. No Sky God makes timeless, "honest," dreadful, joyful MUSIC.

The Values come from California, Nepal, China, and the Bronx and are here to make you dance. They're the best band you've never seen. In this economy, it's all about The Values
