Bruce Harris is a New York born and raised trumpet player hand picked by Wynton Marsalis for the Tony Award winning Broadway musical "After Midnight. " This pedigree alone makes him one of New York's top Jazz players, but what stands out is his ability to fill any room with energy and dance with the sound of his horn.

Marsalis has also mentioned Harris in several articles on young jazz musicians, and the future of jazz. In the shows 8 month run he shared the stage with stars such as Fantasia, Dule Hill, Vanessa Williams, Toni Braxton, KD Lang, and Patti LaBelle. Bruce is one of the young cornerstones at Lincoln Center's Dizzy's Club Coca Cola at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York, and its new sister establishment in Doha, Qatar, where he was invited to bring his band for a month long residency on the budding Jazz scene in the Middle East. He has toured with countless major acts, and has been a fixture in one of the most classic and important Jazz big bands, The Count Basie Orchestra.
He can be seen regularly performing with his Quintet, and Big Band in the hottest clubs all over the world.
