When you're making a website, you want to load the CSS at the beginning and the JavaScript at the end. It's the same for conferences. That's why we're teaming up with CSSConf to do an extra-special crossover event on the evening of June 18th!

On the third Thursday of every month, locals assemble in Brooklyn for one of the NYC web development community's best-loved evenings of talks, snacks, and shmoozing. When we realized CSSConf was on the third Thursday of June, we had but one choice: go big or go home. As CSS and JS developers, we made the only decision we could: go big!

After the first day of CSSConf wraps on Thursday, 6/18, the biggest BrooklynJS yet will kick off at 7:30pm at Littlefield, and CSSConf is invited! The night will feature a panel discusssion from some local (and imported) CSS and JS luminaries, as well as live music, drinks & snacks, and good old fashioned kicking it.

BrooklynJS is a hot (and normally $15) ticket, with proceeds from the event going to ScriptEd.
