About bridges and powerlines, The Aye-Ayes
"Engineering nerds?" (Pitchfork) who write nostalgic fuzz pop that is "incontrovertibly fun" (Yahoo Music). Formed in Brooklyn in late 2007, bridges and powerlines’ meld of harmony-laden three-minute pop songs and angular indie rock has received acclaim from a host of tastemakers including Paste, Popmatters, and the New Yorker, and earned them the perilous tag of "a band to watch" (the L magazine).
The Aye-Ayes are Matt Pincus, Nate Bliss, Mike Brownell, and Peter Smith. They play heart-on-sleeve power pop, loud.
