Introduced to the public at a young age by the Brazilian music masters Antonio Carlos Jobim and Toquinho, prolific performer, composer and producer Andres Laprida has racked up rave reviews from audiences, musicians and critics worldwide for his brilliant guitar skills. His unique sound matches any style, and Laprida has recorded with a wide range of artists, including Gato Barbieri, Phillipe Saisse, New London Consort Orchestra and DJ Spooky. At this special concert at B.B. King Blues Club, Laprida is joined by drummer Helio Schiavo to pay tribute to Brazilian music legends Vinicius De Moraes and Baden Powell, who are famed for their work on the classic bossa nova record "Os Afro Sambas".
