Bonfire Falls

Bonfire Falls is a New York based group comprised of musician/actors Erikka Walsh (vocals, violin), Ryan McCurdy (piano, vocals, guitar) with Stephen Lyons fronting the band (guitar, vocals). This trio of story-tellers weave infectious melodic lines with soaring harmonies and lush instrumentation. Bonfire Falls owes their genesis to their individual involvements in the Broadway production of 'Once The Musical' based on the indie movie starring Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova. Their music has been compared to artists ranging from Glen Hansard to Jeff Buckely, U2, A-ha, and Simon and Garfunkel.

Sometimes thunderous jubiliance evocative of landscapes, and at times intimate encounters on dirt roads with stars over telephone wires. The beauty found in a bonfire sky defines some of the frequency space this progressive, indie, folk, pop trio is mining.

Bonfire Falls has recently completed a 6 month residency at the legendary Bitter End. They are currently working on their first EP, to be released in early 2016.
