A Proud Native of Portage, Michigan Blake was named NY-1's Pick of the week for his Smash Show at Joe's Pub. He has headlined over 45 gigs in the NYC Music Scene including Lincoln Center's Josie Robertson Plaza, Rockwood Music Hall, The Cutting Room, Caffe Vivaldi, The Living Room, Sullivan Hall, and Bowery Electric to name a few.

Most Recently he produced and played in his own Music Festival Collaborating with Six Different Choreographer's, a String Quartet and Jazz Sextet to create a Unique Fusion of Music and Dance at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. Last Summer Blake was chosen to be a part of the Johnny Mercer Songwriting Program at Northwestern U and the Joffrey Ballet's 1st Annual Composer and Choreographer Showcase.

In 2013 he released a 14 Track Debut Album to much critical acclaim entitled "More Like Myself", Reviewers raved with,
