About Bespoke Musik + Playdate present...
Dauwd creates music with a complexity most contemporary producers shy away from. Found sounds are thickly laden over multi-timbred synths, vocal and instrumental stabs punctuate organic and evolving passages guided always by driving percussion and immaculate bass production. The method, "make a noise, make it my noise, then give it some rhythm" certainly seems to work for Dauwd.
"I have collected quite a large archive of sound, from sampling, recording and rummaging through the net. Mostly the samples I use are fairly random, I will audition all kinds of things; if it sounds right it stays, otherwise it goes."
After a year DJing at some of Europe's best clubs and festivals, Dauwd returns this autumn with a four track co-released by Ghostly International and Pictures Music (UK). His sound, leaning now further towards house and techno, incorporates elements of soundscape and showcases and obsessive attention to detail within his production world.
Bespoke Musik resident Jason Baez is no stranger to critical acclaim for his luxurious and expertly programmed sets filled with genre defying, groovy, hypnotic danceable electronic music. Back in 2013, Jason Baez was New Times' pick for Miami's Best DJ on the strength of his powers as a selector. By all accounts, he was one of the most popular and in-demand on the local underground house and techno scene.
But while he already had a couple of budding original releases under his belt by then, 2015 might be the year when Baez truly comes into his own as a producer, especially if A Fool's Circus, his new EP on Bimini Records, is anything to go by.
With hypnotic slow-burning melodic arrangements harking back to late-'90s progressive house but decidedly still in vogue with today's international deep techno Zeitgeist, the record marks a definite maturation in Baez's studio production sound.

Terron Darby is shining his light proving that experience and deep understanding make him one of the freshest talents on the east coast house music scene.
Co founder of Miami based DJ collective DHM (Deep House Movement), Darby has been deeply entrenched in the house community since the early 90’s. From managing a record store, to his foundational music composition roots as a professional audio engineer, to a technology educator with loads of accolades to boast… through it all, he has found his way into a new place on his musical passageway in New York.
Darby knows his way around music and while he could adopt the “been there, done that attitude” rather adopts an infectious and luminous personality, solid perspective of balance paired with a zealous dedication to his calling.
With a focus on his own production efforts, worldwide exposure, and New York party movement "PLAYDATE”–It’s apparent his accomplishments thus far are paying off and receiving love not just from the dance floor, but also from peers and the industry alike. At the core, Darby’s quest in music thrives from emotion –the feeling of positive energy and blissful expression.
“Anything that’s this special to me (as music) in such a powerful way - I simply want to share this feeling so that the person experiencing it can create their own story with it. If something is good it will find its way . . .”

Seth is first and foremost a violinist, and built a passion for experimental electronic music that recently landed him behind the decks. His individual style reflects his instrumental roots -- melodies and experimental elements strewn with both elegance and sophistication. So far in 2014, Seth has played at Detroit's Movement Festival and Burning Man. His first productions are expected late this year.
