About "Attached: Magmanus"

Experimental Two-Man Circus Show "Attached: Magmanus"

Ultimately, everything and everyone is attached. That's the driving message behind "Attached: Magmanus", the critically-acclaimed, highly-physical performance coming to the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. Circus, theater, and interactive elements are combined as contemporary circus performers Magnus Bjøru and Manu Tiger take you on a thrilling journey. Surrounded by stadium lighting and with various contraptions dotting the stage, the Franco-Norwegian duo's Velcro-suited bodies constantly make contact and are cleaved apart. All the while, that recognizable ripping sound provides an unexpected delight. In this experimental circus show about holding on and letting go, the pair's interactions escalate and the idea of attachment is explored in its many forms.
