The music of Morrissey, Johnny Marr & co. lives on with The Sons & Heirs, a New York-based tribute band that recreates the experience of seeing The Smiths in their prime. Singer Ronnissey, guitarist Ravi Marr, bassist Fredo Rourke, and drummer Flax Joyce deliver the songs and live atmosphere of The Smiths and solo Morrissey with a startling authenticity. Since 2006 the band has performed everywhere from Tel Aviv to Los Angeles, sharing the stage with the likes of Smiths bassist Andy Rourke and Morrissey drummer Spencer Cobrin. In 2015 The Sons & Heirs will headline the international Smiths/Morrissey convention in LA.
