Astrograss!

Astrograss is NYC's favorite bluegrass band for families. The band has been performing its family show since 2005, and since then has worked with Dan Zanes on their first EP, recorded 2 full length CDs of original kids music, and performed each year at the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival on the Family Stage. They've performed sold out shows at Symphony Space, Joe's Pub, BAM Harvey Theater, and summer concerts at almost every park within the 5 boroughs. The band also works in educational outreach programs, performing at public schools and working with students on songwriting. Their latest CD, "The Colored Pencil Factory", released in 2012, was awarded a Parent's Choice Silver Honor and NAPPA Gold Award Winner.
