Aphrolove

Futuristic soul band Aphrolove has been steadily stirring up a storm in the music scenes of Boston and New York respectively over the course of the last year. With an aim to create an immersive experience during their live show and captivate their audiences with an animated performance, Aprholove also offers a bed of lush sound and intricate lyrics for the barstool listener as well. Some highlights from this past year include a performance with Malcolm-Jamal Warner of the Cosby Show and a headlining show at Rockwood Music Hall alongside Ryan Scott!

Aphrolove has just finished recording their debut EP which will be available during the early summer months of 2015, with a full length album to follow shortly after. A very interesting treat for many audiences & fans of Aphrolove is another band - "Chameleon Culture." Fronted by keyboardist Alec Gaston of Aphrolove, Chameleon Culture includes all of the members from Aphrolove for a slightly different sonic punch with a folk rock/ alternative feel reminiscent of Jeff Buckley & Radiohead. Chameleon Culture will be performing at DROM along with Aphrolove on 4/14!
