AO MATU: Art Reception

This month's art exhibit features black and white canvases opposite colourful creatures in one theme of the tropical AO MATU Island.

The name AO MATU comes from the Tongan language, one of the muiltiple languages in Polynesia. AO means WORLD, MATU is ISLAND. Nastya spent a lot of time making each character unique, marked with distinguishing motifs. The design is full of different vegetation, forms of the relief and mountains of the island.

About the artist: Nastya KFKS is an experienced artist, illustrator and graphic designer specializing on live drawing exhibitions as well as a regular expositions and art installations. She has had solo exhibitions in the USA, France, Russia, China, and Indonesia.
