When R&B-soul singer Anthony David met four-time Grammy winner India.Arie, his life was forever changed. Tapping David to tour the world with her, Arie saw what millions would soon experience: a stirring blend of heartfelt and honest R&B. Their 2008 duet "Words" was even nominated for a Grammy. Now, David has his own loyal fan base, including the Obamas. Not content to simply sing soul music, David has pushed the boundaries on what to expect from R&B, touching on political, personal and religious themes. For this show at B.B. King Blues Club, David brings his guitar and ATL swagger to New York, where he'll most likely perform hits like "4evermore," as well as "Beautiful Problems," from his 2016 release "The Powerful Now."
