Salsa King Andy Montañez: "50 Plus Una Historia en Concierto"

"El Godfather de la Salsa," a.k.a. Puerto Rican singing superstar Andy Montañez, shakes up the stage with his latest show, "50 Plus Una Historia en Concierto" at the Bronx's Lehman Center for the Performing Arts. A Latin Grammy winner for Best Tropical Album in 2006, Montañez first shot to fame in the '60s as a young singer with the legendary salsa group known as El Gran Combo, which had hits like "Ponme el alcolado, Juana" (Rub Me With Alcohol)" and "Vagabundo (Bum)." Since going solo with his own successful orchestra, he's released close to 20 albums.
