About All Boy/All Girl, Bluffing, Museyroom

Conceived by bandleader and composer, Nicholas Rahn, and uninhibited, theatrical lead vocalist, Danielle Lovier, All Boy/All Girl is an avant-pop collective that makes contemporary music laced with nostalgia. Taking classic influences like Arthur Russell, Philip Glass and Brian Wilson and adapting them to a modern, relevant context, the band uses lush textures and infectious pop melodies melded with bits of avant-garde and musical theatre. With instrumentation including viola, cello, ukulele, upright bass, guitar, drums and dual female vocals, All Boy/All Girl's expansive, creative palette is ever-evolving.

All Boy/All Girl's debut LP, Tiny Iglesia, was released in late 2013 and led to the band touring through the United States and Europe in support. The music video for the lead single, "Dirt", conveyed the intimate nature of the track to a tee, which embraces unavoidable mortality as something we all have in common. Delving into subject matter about our most primal emotions and fears, All Boy/All Girl's lyrical content is gripping and real; coupled with shimmering vocal harmonies and undeniable chemistry between Danielle and soprano vocalist, Jessie Rogowski.

All Boy/All Girl's carefully composed musical expeditions will soon take you on a new journey, as the band is entering the studio to work on their follow-up to Tiny Iglesia. The new material is both thoughtful, and forthright in its execution yet simultaneously spacious and untethered by the restrictions of genre. Look out for some exciting new sounds from all boy/all girl!

BLUFFING is a Brooklyn-based quartet formed in March 2012 by J Boxer (drums/vocals) & Olivia Drusin (guitar/vocals) with the original intention of creating concise earworms no more than two minutes.

They draw inspiration from like-minded underdog pop and/or punk bands. Their debut"Sugar Coated pills of Wisdom", was released on PaperCup Music this spring, recorded at the Silent Barn by Scott Andrews. A follow-up is currently in progress.
