About Acoustic Guitar Tribute to Pink Floyd & The Rolling Stones

Classically Trained Guitarists Play Pink Floyd and The Rolling Stones

Classically trained French guitarist Francois Wiss brings his unique Pink Floyd interpretation to Lucille's at B.B. King Blues Club for a special acoustic set. This is a great way to experience the incredible songcraft of the British experimental pop masters, whose music occasionally gets overshadowed by lush production and larger-than-life stadium shows. Wiss studied music at the Conservatoire in Paris, and was mentored on the nylon strings by notable guitar masters including Pierre Culaz, Marc Benguigui, Belaid Ait Abdallah, Terry Fleming and Mathias Berchadsky. He shares the bill with Spiros Soukis and Dave Fields, who will play acoustic versions of The Rolling Stones. Spiros is a regular performer at B.B. King Blues Club, and quite the bluesman in his own right. When he strums the strings, you'll notice textures in the songs of The Stones you might not have ever heard before.
