Achilles' Last Band was born from converting the simple New York musician late night spitball session of "we should really start a Led Zeppelin band together" into a concentrated blast of full-on, four-piece Zeppelin rockery. From wearing out their VCRs to exhausting Youtube's servers, the members of Achilles' Last Band have collectively seen more live Zeppelin than could be watched in a summer vacation; and their vocabulary shows it.


EnglishKils is a band. And as such, treats their music like a band should. With thoughtfulness, democracy, and a balance of premeditation and spontaneity. This debut album explores the delicate and the extreme poles of their inspiration.
