AC Haley is a singer who accompanies herself on electric bass. After a career as a ballet dancer Ms. Haley turned her talents to music and is now performing in her self styled cabaret , "Effervescent Hour". The show is an eclectic mix of standards, Broadway, and classical compositions; including re-imagined choral offerings. Haley performed Sundays at Goodbye Blue Monday for four years until the club closed in 12/14. She has performed at numerous other venues in NYC including;The Wyndham Garden Hotel Sky Lounge, The Reprise Room at Dillons, The Park Central Hotel, Jim Caruso's Cast Party at Birdland, The Algonquin Salon, Dixon Place, Baron DeKalb Knights of Columbus, and The Cocoa Lounge. During the 2011/2012 season AC had the privilege of singing the National Anthem for the Brooklyn Aviators Hockey team. Ms. Haley has also sung with the choir at St. Anns and the Holy Trinity under the direction of Gregory Eaton, the Brooklyn Conservatory Chorale under the direction of Nelly Vuksic with whom she also studies voice privately. She currently sings in the chorus of Metro Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Phil Nuzzo and in the choir of Grace Episcopal in Brooklyn Heights where Paul Olsen is the choirmaster and organist. Over the past several months Ms. Haley has also been working with Patricia Woodard, voice teacher and coach.
