Aaron Taos EP Release Show

Aaron Taos is what happens when someone who almost exclusively listens to hip-hop makes an indie rock album. The 23 year old New Haven bred and Brooklyn based songwriter/producer seamlessly melts catchy melodies, strong lyrical composition, and distinct instrumental track-spacing.

Drawing upon influences from vibrant indie rock and vintage pop roots (Neutral Milk Hotel, The Beatles, The Beach Boys) and the sludgy melodic tendencies of new-school Hip/Hop (Young Thug, ASAP Rocky, Future), Taos's forthcoming first EP (the self-produced,GUITS) finds its foundation in short catchy structures garnished with buoyant guitar notes and vocals that float with unique clarity amidst the rest of the track's instrumentation. Aaron Taos's sound is an ever-evolving, genre-fusing flow of melodies that bring you back to memories of restless hazy nights. GUITS is due out later this year on September 19.
