Sixpenny Magazine is launching its second issue of illustrated stories for your pocket. The celebration is an Official Brooklyn Book Festival Bookend Event and will include readings, illustrations, audience participation and more! The talent includes, Brooklyn authors, Tanwi Nandini Islam, John Benditt, and Judy Chicurel, and illustrator, Sara Lautman, as well as emerging authors, Eric Boyd and Hannah Nahar.

Sixpenny is a digital and print magazine. Each issue has six stories that take six minutes to read: three are by established authors and three are by emerging authors. All are illustrated. This magazine exists to bring substance and real feeling to the in-between parts of everyone’s day.
