About 1964: The Tribute

1964: The Tribute Brings Beatlemania Back to the Stage

Founded 30 years ago, 1964: The Tribute was named by rock authority "Rolling Stone" as "the best Beatles tribute show on Earth." This loving and meticulous re-creation of a live Beatles concert straight out of the '60s features the best of the Fab Four's early hits with authentic instruments and costumes. 1964 was a key year for the Liverpool lads, who took over the world -- appearing on "The Ed Sullivan Show", touring the U.S., Europe and beyond, and scoring an unprecedented 12 singles on the "Billboard" Hot 100 chart, including the top five, with classics like "Please, Please Me," "All My Loving," "Twist and Shout," "Can't Buy Me Love," and "A Hard Day's Night." Since its debut, 1964: The Tribute has played more than 3,000 shows, having had its own success by touring the world, making several national TV appearances and boasting multiple performances at New York's famed Carnegie Hall. Now you can see the quartet at NYCB Theatre at Westbury.
