Sammy Bravo

"Originally from Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Sammy Bravo is a singer-songwriter now residing in Brooklyn, New York. His return to The Cutting Room stage since 2012 jump starts the east coast promotional tour for his upcoming EP, Chromatic.

Sammy’s musical journey was hugely influenced by attending church as a child. He fell in love with gospel music and it’s neighbouring genre’s including jazz, Motown, funk and disco.

Stylistically, there are many that have added their influence, but Sammy has been most strongly influenced by Stevie Wonder. Bravo’s music is a juxtaposed mix of Bjork, George Michael and Lauryn Hill embodying the very best theatrical elements of these performers.
