About "My Son the Waiter: A Jewish Tragedy"

One-Man Comedy "My Son the Waiter: A Jewish Tragedy"

"My Son the Waiter: A Jewish Tragedy" tells the humor-filled and heartwarming tale of actor-comedian Brad Zimmerman, whose 29-year quest to build a performing career is supported by a "temporary" job in the restaurant industry. Zimmerman, who's opened for Joan Rivers, George Carlin and Brad Garrett, shares stories of his oft-hilarious family, career and none-too-successful love life in this one-man show that's played to appreciative audiences across the country. You might also recognize him from "The Sopranos", where he played Johnny Sack's lawyer -- so at least he could say he met his parents' expectations, even if it was as a fictional character.
